Stuffing with Bell Peppers Recipe

PREP TIME:  45 Minutes



  • 2 cups Lakeside Bell Peppers, chopped

  • 10 cups white bread, cut into 1” cubes

  • 2 onions, chopped

  • 4 stalks celery, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 2 tsp thyme

  • 2 tsp sage

  • 2 tbsp parsley

  • 6 tbsp butter

  • salt and pepper, to taste



Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add onion, celery and Lakeside bell peppers. Cook over medium until tender, about 10-12 minutes.

Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Add vegetable mixture, minced garlic, parsley and fresh herbs. 

Pour broth over bread mixture and gently toss. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place mixture in a glass baking dish, dot with additional butter.

Bake stuffing, covered with foil, for 25 minutes at 180°C/350°F. Uncover and bake until top is brown, about 25 minutes.
